New aspirin ‘weapon’ psychiatrists

(ANSA) – SYDNEY, May 14 – nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as aspirin are effective in the fight against the most common mental illnesses, whose origin is back on inflammatory processes in the blood and in the brain. Trials at the University of Melbourne showed that drugs and anti-inflammatory drugs, including aspirin, celecoxib, infliximab, and omega-3 fatty acids in the fish oil, added to existing treatments, relieve symptoms of depression, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
